The Victoria Filipino Canadian Association (VFCA) is pleased to share its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of cultural celebration, community support, and continued growth. Guided by the spirit of bayanihan, VFCA strengthened programs for Filipino Canadians across Greater Victoria.


Highlights of 2025

  • Showcased Filipino culture at major events including the Mabuhay Celebration, Filipino Heritage Month, and the Victoria Day Parade.

  • Supported community members through consular outreach, youth programs, workshops, and newcomer services.

  • Raised funds for the Bayanihan Cultural Housing Project through food fairs, markets, and community fundraisers.

  • Engaged with federal, provincial, and municipal leaders to advocate for housing, migrant support, cultural programming, and community development.

  • Maintained financial stability with strong reserves and ongoing project funding.


Moving Forward

In 2026, VFCA will continue expanding cultural programs, youth initiatives, community services, and advocacy efforts, while advancing the Bayanihan Cultural Housing Project.
