VFCA, BCHS, and VFCCA continue to offer a wide range of programs designed to enrich the lives of Filipino-Canadians in Victoria.

Highlights include:

• Welcoming Newcomers & Immigration Processes – Get essential guidance on navigating the Canadian immigration system, accessing settlement services, and tips for adapting to life in Canada.

• Cultural Workshops – Participate in dance, music, and language sessions to preserve Filipino traditions and celebrate our heritage.

• Caregiver Support Services – Resources, educational sessions, and counseling designed to support Filipino families, especially those caring for elderly relatives.

• Youth Engagement Programs – Fun and educational activities for children and youth, including the Sampaguita Kids Dancers, summer camps exploring Philippine literature, games, and cooking, and seasonal events such as Easter, Halloween, and Christmas celebrations. These programs help young participants connect with their heritage, build confidence, and thrive in their community.

• Performing Arts Opportunities – Join the VFCA Sampaguita Dance, BCC VFCA Himig Filipino Choir, and Kalinangan Theatre Group for dance, music, and theatre experiences. Participants perform at major cultural festivals, community events, and seasonal showcases, promoting Filipino arts and culture in Victoria.
